Getting Started
Overview
The SECiD API provides programmatic access to the platform's core features including user management, job postings, events, forums, and gamification systems. Our RESTful API is designed to be intuitive and follows industry standards.

The SECiD API uses JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication. Include your token in the Authorization header of your requests.
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_JWT_TOKEN" \
https://api.secid.org/v1/users/meGetting a Token
POST /auth/login
{
"email": "user@example.com",
"password": "your-password"
}Returns a JWT token valid for 24 hours.
Rate Limiting
API requests are rate limited to ensure fair usage and platform stability.
| Plan | Requests/Hour | Burst Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1,000 | 100/minute |
| Premium | 10,000 | 500/minute |
| Enterprise | 100,000 | 2,000/minute |
Error Handling
The API uses conventional HTTP response codes to indicate success or failure of requests.
